The renovation project at Golf Club de Geneve was arguably the most impressive renovation project ever in continental Europe. The course was rebuilt to an exceptionally high specification. The architect was Robert Trent Jones Junior, Nick Norton was the project manager and design representative permanently on site.

The project faced huge challenges, being renovated in winter on a clay soil and reopened for play in May. Switzerland as a country had many regulations and procedures that had to be adhered to.

The end product is a well drained golf course closed only by snow, exceptional and well contoured greens, all new tees and stunning bunkers.

Turfgrass were the overall project managers and agronomists managing this achievement.
